Professional Memberships are split into two categories​ -


  1. Sliver Member applicants have completed Industry Training Program Avalanche Operations Level 1 (or equivalent) and are engaged in avalanche-related activities on a regular or part-time basis.
  2. Gold Member applicant​s have completed the Industry Training Program Avalanche Operations Level 1 (or equivalent) or higher and have been engaged in avalanche-related activities during two of the past four winter seasons. In addition, Gold Member applicants must arrange for one current Gold Member to submit a reference.


Professional Members also get the gift pack when signing up.
